Ms. Yu is a former principle performer at Hubei Peking Opera Theater in Wuhan, China, and one of the most prominenfemale Peking Opera performers in China. Giraduated from China Traditional Opera Schoo! in Beijing, Ms. Yu is a couneilmember of the Chinese Traditiona! Opera Performers Association, She has won awards from various Peking Opencompetitions and festivals in China. She has visited Austris, North Korea and the USA with Hubei Peking Opera TheaterTroupe. Since her arival in the U$A in 1999, she has performed in New York and Florida for diverse audiences at variousuniversities,museums, and corporate special cvents
