Soprano Singer

Lillian Guo began studying both opera and Chinese folk singing at the age of 14. At 19, she was admitted to the Voice performance of the China Conservatory of Music, studying under Professor Ma Shuming. She has performed as a soloist multiple times at the Heilongjiang Provincial TV Spring Festival Gala, the Harbin Municipal TV Spring Festival Gala, and the Harbin Summer Music Festival. In 2018, she won First Prize in the opera Division of the New York International Vocal Competition.

She previously worked as a musical theatre actress at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater and is currently a soprano at Opera Orlando.

In 2023, she was invited to perform at the Baroque Music Concert at Carnegie Hall in New York, collaborating with a local New York City symphony orchestra and performing solo works by Bach.

Lillian Guo is now dedicated to developing vocal education for both adults and children. Her students are located across Orlando, Melbourne (FL), and New York. Many of them have won awards at the American Protégé competition and achieved excellent results in the NYSSMA vocal examinations in New York State.

With a solid foundation in vocal performance, she is not only proficient in lyrical coloratura opera works, but also adept at performing traditional Chinese folk songs. Moreover, she excels at crossover pieces that blend operatic and popular styles, such as Broadway musicals.
