Luo Wu, the Erhu and Guzheng Performing Artist,
Luo Wu, a musician specializing in the erhu and guzheng, is a graduate of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she studied under Professor Zuying Xiang (erhu) and Professor Wenyan Sun (guzheng). In 1991, she won the grand prize at the XIV Shanghai Spring Nationwide Erhu Competition and subsequently joined the Shanghai Dance Theatre as a soloist. She toure the United States with the troupe in 1992 and moved there permanently in 1996, where she continues to perform and teach
